Our Undying Quest to Garnering Platinum Status

  • Offered first live gig in Santa Barbara on State Street; bar shut down for health code violations
  • Contacted for live gig at Penn State; Flobots signed instead, only to bail on their performance a few days in advance.
  • Shift focus to video production, garner close to 500 YouTube subscribers and achieve partnership; partnership revoked due to erroneous false allegations.

Thus, our journey shall continue.  Full update to come.

Hello there world.

Just wanted to take the time to give everyone or anyone a quick update on the status of the band and what we’ve been up to.

As you may have seen we recently launched our new YouTube channel, Extremely Decent, and within 3 mere months were able to achieve over 300 subscribers and a partnership.

We decided early on this summer that our focus was going to shift to more visual content than our normal every once in a while jam on new tracks.  This has given us both the opportunity to work on smaller scale projects more often, even with such a distance between us location wise.

This winter however we hopefully, will be releasing a few new tracks (one possibly another Christmas single) along with video productions for each of them.  Along with that we plan on eventually compiling all of the short ‘mini-songs’ we wrote for various videos into a downloadable album for your listening pleasure.

As far as another album is planned, we have so many in progress songs that we haven’t known quite exactly which ones to pursue in order to complete another EP or a possible LP.  Once we find the time to finalize a few of the tracks we will be able to see where we stand with another release, but rest assured, we have loads of new content in store.  The only issue is getting our comedy out there before some of the jokes go stale (HINT: No Homo released years ago, only to be done by The Lonely Island).

Well that’s all for now.  Be sure to subscribe to our channel to see our fantabulous acting skills and ever so attractive faces.  Thanks to all the new fans and followers we’ve somehow received in our tumblr absence.  Above is the final version of the music video we shot at the end of summer.  We hope you enjoy.  Remember, sexism is not funny, unless you’re talking about Michelle Bachman.

EDIT: Also go ahead and follow our Extremely Decent tumblr if you are so inclined.  We will be updating it with all our new content and extra content from the shoots.  :D

As of yesterday afternoon, we officially wrapped the shoot of our first music video. This summer we’ve decided to put a larger emphasis on visual content as opposed to our primarily aural past. Check back soon for more updates on our new YouTube channel and sketch comedy group delivering fresh content every Tuesday.

It is indeed that time a year again folks.  The time when a mythical fat man hell bent on communist rule gets the final say in how much material crap you receive.  The time when congressional dickwads refuse to do their jobs so they can spend time at home while the 9/11 workers slowly die off without compensation or regard for their well being.
And thus, we present to you our second Christmas single Marlo The Elf.  It is a simple tale about the hardships of the north pole strung together with some good ol’ acoustic comedy.
If you haven’t already, please also check out our recently re-released FHD-EP (Rhinestone Edition).  You’ll find higher fidelity mixes of our original recordings as well as 4 new bonus tracks to keep you offended through the new year.

We hope you enjoy our gift of wit to you this year, and ask that you please stop with the sugar free cookies and the lactate free milk.  Sure, Santa has had diabetes and cholesterol issues for centuries but hey, this is America.  And we really dont give a fuck.

In the studio…

So as we have stated before we are currently working on a rerelease of our first EP.  Recently however we have been experiencing some technical difficulties with faulty software and scheduling conflicts.  We are currently in the mixing stage however and should have the product out in a few days.

It seems that we have gotten in a bad habbit of not meeting our own deadlines for our various projects.  Nonetheless, we are working to overcome these minor hiccups in our process.  We promise to deliver plenty of delectable dishes for you to yomp down in the very near future.

Sorry for the constant delays.  Happy Easter to all.

Update 11/28/10

One week from today, the dangerous dudes remain flaming hot as we rerelease our first EP along with new bonus content featuring demos, remixes, and special guest appearances.

We are shooting for a December 5th release date available on our bandcamp.  As previously mentioned, this release will celebrate the bands reception of the highly coveted Rhinestone MP3 award, given to those artists awesome enough to reach 100 downloads.  Make sure to check it out the second it is available.  Otherwise, we can’t guarantee if you will or wont come down with an unknown virus designed to melt your brain and transform you into a dancing vegetarian zombie.

Be sure to check out our YouTube account later this week as we unveil the quickest video production in the history of FHD, as well as the FHD-EP Rhinestone Edition announcement video (or you could just scroll down).

As for the continuation of the Daily Dangers project.  Fear not, we have not given up on the second round of suggestions.  However, school and other obligations have prevented us from completing the second entry.  Soon though it will be uploaded.  Better have your Depends ready.

adjö tikar :D

It is that time a week once again.  This time, we present to you a special quick video.  Enjoy you big breasted baby kangaroos.

Update 11/7/10

Greetings followers, fans, and those of you who accidentally clicked on our blog while Google searching flaming hot cheetos.

It has been a while since we have gotten on the content train, but we are determined to keep the flame of our band hot (and dangerous).  Our current situations have cause a certain complicated hiatus of the band, but we aim now to end that.

First off we will be featuring bi-weekly video segments where we take one word suggestions for songs and bang it out in one day to get the creative juices rolling again.  We will post a status on our Facebook and the suggestion with the most votes (from others) will be incorporated into the song.

Also we will soon be announcing the date for a re-release of our album with additional bonus content ranging from remixes, demos, and random jams, in order to celebrate reaching the 100 download threshold, and receiving the self created “Rhinestone MP3” award.

Our main goal of the next few months is to work on spreading the word about our endeavors and gaining a real presence in the independent music world.  This includes submitting our songs to blogs, promotional photos, posters and other shwag designed by our good friend Lee Williams, and general word of mouth.  Also we are working on finishing the writing process for a not to far off second EP that we hope to complete by the end of winter break.

Once we are able to schedule it all out we may even attempt at a few music videos with directors like Nathan Garofalos, David Stewart, Chase Hart, possibly Patrick Lawler and anyone else we can find.

We would also like to take the time to thank you all once again for sticking by our vulgarity, sarcasm, and immaturity over the years.  You will all be remembered the day we finally go platinum.

With love and fluffy bunnies,

FHD
